Locum Interventional Radiographer Contract

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiographer to join our client’s radiology department in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of complex procedures and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

As an Interventional Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a range of imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and angiography. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe and effective delivery of patient care.

Salary: £24 – £29/hour
Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Performing a range of interventional radiology procedures
• Analysing images and providing accurate diagnoses
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhering to strict quality control standards
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
• Assisting in surgical procedures using image intensifiers.
• Demonstrating flexibility by working shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Role Requirements

• Valid registration with the HCPC
• Significant experience in interventional radiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Availability for on-call and weekend duties.
